The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize. Responsibilities include handling claims involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic breakdowns of agricultural and construction equipment, with claim amounts up to and exceeding $100k. Mechanical aptitude and professionalism are essential as we process claims for dealerships.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Adjudicate claims fairly, accurately, and efficiently within contract guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with equipment dealers and insured parties to gather information, clarify claim details, and facilitate timely resolution of heavy equipment claims.
  • Maintain and develop key relationships within the business segment to support company growth and success.
Minimum Job Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:
  • Technical knowledge of heavy equipment, familiarity with multiple makes, models, and functionalities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess mechanical breakdowns, liability, and repairs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions inside and outside the organization.
  • Knowledge of contract terms, conditions, and coverages.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple claims efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or GED (required); associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment or mechanical claims adjustment.
  • Experience with claims management or dealer systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel if required.
