Responsibilities

The Adjuster actively manages claims while identifying and pursuing business development opportunities through marketing and follow-up in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in Auto, Property, Liability, Accident Benefits, or Bodily Injury claims.
• University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance is an asset.
• Willingness to pursue an adjuster’s license and CIP designation.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Commitment to ongoing education and learning.
• Ability to learn investigative skills and techniques.
• Ability to draw valid conclusions and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting documentation related to claims.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including listening, interviewing, and negotiating.
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting tasks.
• Proactive, positive customer service approach, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
• Interpersonal skills to handle conflict and difficult situations effectively.
