  2. Analyze and interpret insurance policy wording to determine coverage and assess entitlements which are fair and equitable.
  3. Collect reports and statements to determine liability and coverage.
  4. Within established authority limits, negotiate effective settlements of claims, attend court proceedings, mediations, and settlement meetings.
  5. Manage transport truck losses throughout Canada and the USA.
  6. Handle Ontario's commercial and personal lines Facility third-party bodily injury claims in our Halcion system.
  7. Report on losses as required to the Facility Association.
  8. Work in a team environment, acting as a mentor, role model, and technical resource for others on the team.
  9. Work effectively with defence and plaintiff counsels to resolve files in a timely manner at all levels of claims.
  10. Communicate in a timely and respectful manner with customers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims and report findings and settlements.
