Job summary

Bothwell-Accurate Co. Inc. is hiring a Cladding Project Coordinator to support Project Managers across multiple cladding projects.

This developmental role offers exposure to documentation, RFIs, shop drawings, and cost tracking, with potential progression to Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager. Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, Building Science, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
• Experience with cladding, façade systems, architectural panels or building envelope construction is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook); Bluebeam or similar software; AutoCAD is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication and information between internal teams, field operations, General Contractors, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, scope, estimates, and schedules to assist with startup and ongoing coordination.
• Manage shop drawing, submittal, and RFI processes, including site measurements, drafting coordination, submissions, revisions, and approvals.
• Assist with project schedules, material procurement, supplier/subcontractor quotations, Purchase Orders, and delivery tracking.
• Support site and logistical planning including site access, deliveries, material handling, and equipment coordination.
• Participate in meetings; assist with minutes and action items; track outstanding commitments.
• Assist with project cost and documentation control: PO tracking, pricing backups, quantities, billing, and project records.
• Support completion: coordinate deficiencies, inspections, warranty items, closeout documentation, and safety procedures.

Job description

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Cladding Project Coordinatorto support our Project Managers in the coordination and execution of multiple cladding projects at various stages of completion. This is a developmental role for someone looking to build a career in construction project management, with opportunities to progress toward Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager roles.

Working across multiple projects and Project Managers, the Coordinator will assist with project documentation, submittals, RFIs, shop drawing coordination, material and schedule tracking, site coordination, cost tracking, and closeout requirements. As knowledge and experience develop, the coordinator will be expected to take advantage of assigned project responsibilities while working under the guidance of the Project Managers.

What You’ll Do

• Support multiple Project Managers and projects by coordinating communication and information between internal teams, field operations, General Contractors, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Assist with project startup and ongoing coordination by reviewing drawings, specifications, scope, estimates, schedules, and other project documents, and help identify requirements, responsibilities, deliverables, and potential issues.
• Coordinate the shop drawing, submittal, and RFI process, including site measurements and scanning information, drafting coordination, reviews, submissions, comments, revisions, samples, product data, colour selections, mockups, and approvals.
• Assist Project Managers with project schedules, material procurement, supplier and subcontractor quotations, Requisition Forms, Purchase Order documentation, fabrication and delivery tracking, and follow-up on items that may affect project progress.
• Support site and logistical planning, including site access, deliveries, staging, material handling, cranes, lifts, equipment, permits, orientations, and coordination with field supervisors, installers, General Contractors, and site teams.
• Participate in internal, client, consultant, supplier, subcontractor, and site coordination meetings; assist with meeting preparation, record minutes and action items when required, and follow up on outstanding commitments.
• Assist with project cost and documentation control by tracking Purchase Orders, supplier and subcontractor commitments, pricing backup, quantities, billing information, project costs, schedules, safety documentation, and other required project records.
• Support projects through completion by coordinating deficiencies, inspections, warranty items, closeout documentation, and outstanding project requirements, while following Bothwell-Accurate and site-specific safety procedures and promptly escalating concerns to the appropriate team member.

What You Bring to the Team

• Post-secondary education in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant construction experience, is preferred. Candidates currently completing a relevant program may also be considered.
• Previous experience or exposure to cladding, façade systems, architectural panels, building envelope construction, drafting, scanning, or commercial construction is an asset, but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook, and familiarity with Bluebeam or similar construction document and project-management software. Experience with AutoCAD is an asset but not required.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
• Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, with a willingness to continue developing technical knowledge of cladding and building envelope systems.
