Job summary

Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. is seeking a Cladding Estimator to join our Surrey team. You will review drawings, perform take-offs, and prepare cost estimates for cladding projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. The role requires collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to deliver timely bids.

The position is full-time and onsite at our Surrey office with standard hours. Salary ranges from CAD 60,000 to CAD 90,000 per year based on experience, with bi-weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Management or similar.
• Minimum 2 years in construction, preferably cladding or building envelope projects.
• Strong math/analytical skills for cost estimation and take-offs.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for internal collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings and specs to assess scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs and material estimates from architectural drawings.
• Prepare bid-cost estimates for cladding projects with accuracy.
• Submit bids and track proposals for timely submissions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subs to gather pricing and negotiate costs.
• Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients on scope.
• Use estimating software for documentation and costing.
• Maintain cost databases and bid tracking systems.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Cladding Estimator to play a key role in delivering competitive and accurate bids from our Surrey office. This is an excellent opportunity if you are detail-oriented, passionate about construction, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Review project documents, including drawings and specifications, to assess scope and requirements
• Perform quantity take-offs and material estimates using architectural drawings
• Prepare cost estimates for cladding projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
• Submit bids and track project proposals to ensure timely submissions
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate costs
• Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope
• Use industry-specific software, such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, for estimating and documentation
• Maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing records, and bid tracking systems

What You Bring to the Team

• A diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in cladding, façade systems, or building envelope projects
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for cost estimation and quantity take-offs
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel, and GoNest (or similar estimating/optimization software)
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
