Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Civil & Utility Engineer to lead municipal utility design for Ontario transit projects, including watermain, sanitary, stormwater, and related works. You will coordinate with clients, municipalities, and agencies to ensure compliant, integrated designs.

You will drive QA/QC, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver complex utility solutions for major rail infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure and utility design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with P.Eng. designation or eligibility in Ontario.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; BIM tools are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario municipal standards, guidelines, and approval processes.
• Experience on Transit Rail projects is an asset.

As part of the Municipal Infrastructure team within the Civil Engineering, Design and Project Management Division, you will work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment supporting major transit rail and civil infrastructure projects.
