Job summary

AtkinsRéalis’s Ontario Geotechnical Team is expanding, seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join in Etobicoke and/or Vaughan with hybrid work options in the Greater Toronto Area. You will lead geotechnical projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on tunnels, highways and bridges.

The ideal candidate holds a P.Eng in Ontario with 8+ years in geotechnical engineering, including project management and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Must hold a P.Eng license in Ontario.
• 8+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience with tunnels, highways, rail, municipal roads and bridges; Ontario Ministry of Transportation experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

This position is located in Etobicoke and/or Vaughan, Ontario but we would consider applicants in the greater Toronto area as well that have good geotechnical skills from projects such as transportation, tunnels, highways, rail, municipal roads and bridges.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with good technical and engineering skills and a professional engineering designation - (P.Eng) to work on exciting projects where they can make their mark and move their career forward. This role offers a hybrid work environment, growth potential and a good work-life balance.## **Your role*** Work closely with a variety of AtkinsRéalis professionals in multiple sectors such as transportation, tunnel, rail & transit, energy, cities and developments as well as industrial.* Participate on multi-disciplinary teams and projects and will be expected to collaborate on multidisciplinary projects of all scales.* Execute major programs, supporting complex proposals, mentoring of junior staff, as well as act as technical reference.* Develop and expand our infrastructure geotechnics capability by building on the existing portfolio of our rapidly expanding, flexible and outward looking team that can tackle work across a broad spectrum of sectors.## **About you*** A strong academic background with a relevant university degree.* Must have 4+ years of holding P.Eng. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role.
