Civil Technician (Fall COOP Term)

GEMTEC currently has an opening for a Civil Technician in our Dartmouth office location for the Fall 2025 COOP Term (September to December 2025).

You’re an ideal candidate if you have :

• Experience or interest in general construction activities, materials testing and inspection services.
• A desire to get hands-on experience in your field of study.
• The initiative to find the next task without being told.

A typical day on the job might look like :

Performing laboratory testing of aggregates, soils, concrete and asphalt.

Performing field testing and sampling of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt.

Adhering to all company policies.

Performing other duties as required.

Experience with materials testing and inspection.
