Position Overview

We seek a Professional Engineer for our Tualatin office to design timber structures and enhance our reputation. Join a team where your ideas and craftsmanship make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer timber structures such as buildings, bridges, trusses, arches, beams, posts, columns, and CLT systems.
  • Produce structural calculations and detailed drawings.
  • Create RFIs to support project execution.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, city officials, and subcontractors.
  • Evaluate existing timber systems and produce reports.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure project success.
  • Contribute to building innovative, lasting structures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • PE license or ability to obtain.
  • Interest or experience in timber design and construction.
  • Knowledge of IBC and AASHTO codes.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Curiosity, collaboration, and integrity.
