The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the Edmonton region.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from pre‑construction through completion, ensuring safe, efficient, and successful project delivery while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs), pump stations, reservoirs, bridges, and other municipal civil infrastructure projects.
  • Take full ownership of project execution, including budgeting, cost control, scheduling, forecasting, risk management, and overall project performance.
  • Manage daily project operations, including subcontractor coordination, trade management, project documentation, RFIs, shop drawings, change management, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, designers, site superintendents, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  • Build and lead multidisciplinary project teams, promoting collaboration and accountability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Support a positive, team‑focused culture while contributing to essential infrastructure projects that help strengthen communities.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience with a mid‑sized to large general contractor (GC experience is required).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering municipal water, wastewater, WWTP, pump station, reservoir, bridge, or other civil infrastructure projects.
  • Post‑secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (equivalent experience will also be considered).
  • P.Eng. designation, PMP certification, or a Civil/Mechanical Engineering background is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience managing concrete structures on water and wastewater projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to successfully lead projects from pre‑construction through close‑out.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
