Civil Project Manager - Terrace, BC Contract

Our client, a well-established civil construction company specializing in earthworks, underground utilities, and roadworks, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team for a project in Terrace, BC. The ideal candidate will have experience managing self-perform civil construction projects, particularly in remote or regional settings across British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement for civil construction projects, starting with a $5M utilities job in Terrace.
2. Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure safe and efficient execution.
3. Monitor progress, address delays or issues, and maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Manage project documentation, forecasting, reporting, and change orders.
5. Lead weekly project meetings and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in civil construction.
2. Strong knowledge of underground utilities, roadworks, and self-perform operations.
3. Proficient with construction documentation, budgeting, and scheduling.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
