Job summary

Aplin Martin is seeking a Project Engineer to lead design teams on land development and capital works projects in British Columbia. You will coordinate engineering efforts, mentor junior staff, and liaise with clients and municipalities to meet milestones.

Active P.Eng. license with 4+ years of experience is required. This full-time, on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in design of land development or capital works projects.
• Registered as a P.Eng. within the province of work.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work simultaneously on several different projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects through municipal design approvals as Engineer-of-Record.
• Direct involvement with the detailed engineering design process and guidance to staff.
• Attend meetings with clients, contractors and municipal staff and document outcomes.
• Meet project milestones and manage changes in scope/schedule.
• Provide mentorship and evaluation of junior staff and manage project budgets.
