About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Civil EIT to join our team. In this role, you will be involved with drafting, modelling, and design using AutoCAD Civil 3D on a variety of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects for our municipal and private sector clients throughout the province of British Columbia. This position is considered a civil role, however, requires an aptitude for mechanical components and design. You’ll be part of a close-knit group of experienced personnel, including specialist engineers, client managers, and project managers, all dedicated to ensuring your success.

About You

  • Graduate of a Civil Engineering program and enrolled as an Engineer in Training (EIT) with EGBC
  • Ideally has minimum five years’ experience in a civil engineering role in municipal infrastructure
  • Proficiency with or ability and willingness to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is an asset with keen attention to detail
  • Goal and detail oriented with ambition for continuous improvement
  • Strong written English and verbal communication skills
  • A positive personality with client-driven perspective
  • Meet deadlines and work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Class 5 Drivers License is required

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with small local government clients and local developers, guiding projects that bring meaningful change to communities.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 – $85,000 depending on experience.
