Norland Limited in the Victoria and Duncan area is seeking a Foreman to lead field crews on civil construction projects. You will supervise daily site work, ensure safety, quality, and environmental practices, and coordinate with the Project Superintendent to align resources.

The role requires at least 5 years in civil construction, strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. You will work outdoors in varying weather and may have extended hours to meet project

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of civil construction experience.
• Strong communication skills to lead crews and work with supervisors.
• Willingness to learn and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
• Working knowledge of WorkSafe regulations and industry best practices.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Extended hours may be required to meet project schedules.
• Region-wide travel and potential time away from home when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew on site, directing daily work with your team.
• Motivate and guide crew members to work safely and efficiently.
• Own safety, quality, and environmental protection for all activities.
• Read, interpret, and execute work based on drawings, specifications, and plans.
• Maintain accurate daily records of hours, deliveries, quantities, and site activity.
• Coordinate with the Project Superintendent to plan work and allocate resources.
