Thurber has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Materials Engineering Technologist or Technicianwith 2 to 3+ years of experience to join our team inVancouver, British Columbia.
Thurber provides geotechnical, environmental and construction materials engineering and testing services for a variety of industries across Canada. Our multidisciplinary expertise allows us to work on problems related to earth, the environment and construction materials. We solve problems in a wide variety of industries including transportation, building construction, municipal infrastructure, land development, dams and water resources, industrial development, mining, oil and gas, marine and environmental services.
Responsibilities
A Construction Materials Engineering Technologist’s responsibility consist primarily of carrying out field and laboratory assignments relating to geotechnical, environmental and materials testing.More specifically your responsibilities will include:
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must have a relevant post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience), at least five years of progressive field experience, and a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
