An established industry player is seeking a Construction Materials Engineering Technologist or Technician to join their dynamic team in Vancouver. Thurber has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Materials Engineering Technologist or Technician with 2 to 3+ years of experience to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Thurber provides geotechnical, environmental and construction materials engineering and testing services for a variety of industries across Canada. Our multidisciplinary expertise allows us to work on problems related to earth, the environment and construction materials.
Responsibilities
A Construction Materials Engineering Technologist’s responsibility consists primarily of carrying out field and laboratory assignments relating to geotechnical, environmental and materials testing. More specifically your responsibilities will include:
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must have a relevant post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience), at least five years of progressive field experience, and a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
