As we continue to grow our business and enhance our service offerings locally, we are eagerly seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Civil Engineering Technologist to join our Moncton office. Located at 555 Mapleton Avenue, this new office space provides a bright, vibrant, highly functional, technologically advanced, and collaborative working environment for our team.

Not only will you be given an opportunity to help bring local infrastructure projects to life; but you will also have a chance if desired to collaborate with EXP team members across North America on some very large and challenging infrastructure projects in other jurisdictions!

Your Role & Responsibilities

Contribute to the overall planning, design, and construction of a wide range of municipal and transportation infrastructure projects by:

1. Preparing engineering drawings for municipal and transportation projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D;
2. Preparing plan, profile, grading, surface design for water, storm, and wastewater piping, and roadways design from concept to final;
3. Generating material quantities and cost estimates;
4. Preparing presentation graphics and report figures;
5. Ensuring that the projects' needs are met in a timely and effective manner;
6. Understanding and adhering to EXP and client standards;
7. Completing on-site inspections of civil projects.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent);
2. Relevant experience in the design and construction of municipal and transportation infrastructure (i.e. water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, roads, etc.);
3. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Word, MS Excel and Autoturn;
4. Strong work ethic and communication skills.
