Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited seeks a Civil Engineering Graduate to join the Linear Municipal Infrastructure team, focusing on water mains, sewers, stormwater systems and roadways. This entry position is based in Calgary, Winnipeg or Yellowknife, with flexible hours and a hybrid work arrangement to support work-life balance.

You will support design teams, collaborate across disciplines, and gain experience with Civil3D and technical reports while traveling to client sites and other Dillon offices as

Qualifications

• Knowledge of functional and detailed design of integrated municipal infrastructure including roads, sewers and watermains.
• Understanding of design drawings and reports, contract documents, tendering and contract administration.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Civil3D/Land Desktop knowledge is an asset.
• Familiarity with municipal/provincial engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers and engineers in the design of municipal infrastructure (water, sewers, roads, site servicing, storm water management, waste management).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and travel to client locations or other Dillon offices as needed.
• Support design activities to maintain project schedules and ensure completion, including Civil3D and technical report writing.
