Job summary

AtkinsRéalis, a leading Canadian engineering firm, seeks a Civil Engineering EIT to join the Municipal Infrastructure Group in Toronto. You will contribute to the design and construction of linear infrastructure, gaining exposure to civil, structural, traffic and environmental disciplines.

You will prepare preliminary and detailed designs with Civil 3D, AutoCAD and MicroStation, assist in contract packages, monitor construction for quality and safety, and coordinate with agencies and teams to

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering graduate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil or municipal engineering design for linear infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads, and MS Project.
• Aptitude for applying Ontario and/or TAC geometric design standards for roads and underground utility projects.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and deliver high-quality results within established deadlines.
• Valid Class G Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of preliminary and detailed civil and municipal engineering designs for linear infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and update engineering drawings and technical documentation using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
• Support the development of contract packages, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with external agencies, multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and construction personnel to support successful project delivery.
