- Responsibilities
Design and analyze storm and sanitary systems, water distribution networks, and stormwater management models for diverse projects
- Perform design calculations to meet regulatory standards and convey detailed requirements to CAD staff for drafting
- Prepare clear and thorough technical reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, architects, review agencies, and other external partners to ensure seamless project execution
- Execute tasks under the guidance of senior engineers while progressively taking on more independent technical responsibilities
- Support project delivery through technical expertise, problem-solving, and effective communication
- Contribute to a range of technical assignments and support the development of innovative solutions
- Requirements
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in civil / stormwater engineering
- Expertise in stormwater, sanitary, and water distribution design principles
- Familiarity with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software, with relevant project experience
- Strong skills in Civil design software and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent technical report writing, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
