Dynamic Earth Solutions (DES) specializes in site planning, spatial information and digital terrain modeling, surface and subsurface investigations, rock mechanics, underground structures, geotechnical laboratory services, flood forecasting and water resource management through our geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and civil site development expertise.

As the successful candidate, you will :

  • Site and civil infrastructure schematic design, design development and construction documents.
  • Coordination with other design consultants.
  • Construction administration and review to ensure adherence to contract documents.
  • Preparing technical analysis and designs.
  • Assisting with preparing technical reports.
  • Providing construction cost estimates for projects.
  • Preparing and review drawings.
  • Preparing contract specifications / documentation.
  • Liaison with team members, clients and agencies.
  • Conducting field inspections of engineering designs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You bring to the role :

  • Professional 5+ experience related to design and construction of water and sewer systems, storm water management design and construction, site grading, including cut and fill, contaminated soil remediation requirements on large site development projects, transit, commercial and municipal infrastructure, including but not limited to transit stations, parking structures, parking, track, signals, bridges, grade separations, tracks, underground tunnels and rehabilitation of buildings.
  • General understanding of road design requirements (e.g. drainage / hydraulic design, environmental design, mitigation measures, engineering surveys, geotechnical investigation and design).
  • Knowledge of various software packages (Microsoft office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Water / Sewer GEMS, EPANET).
  • Exceptional technical writing skills along with a good command of English language in both written and verbal capacities.
  • Experience with design and construction of transit facility is an asset.
  • Experience with heavy rail electrification is an asset.
  • Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions
