David Nairne & Associates Ltd (DNA) is a multi-disciplinary civil/structural engineering firm with over 50 years in BC. We seek Civil Engineers from EIT to P.Eng level for municipal infrastructure and land development projects, offering mentorship and leadership opportunities in a collaborative, tight-knit team.

The role is based in North Vancouver with hybrid flexibility after probation, and occasional travel to remote communities in BC is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Registered as an EIT or P.Eng. with EGBC or eligible to register.
• Experience in municipal infrastructure or land development is an asset.
• Familiarity with civil design software and tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office).
• Exposure to MMCD contract administration and construction inspection is an asset.
• Strong communication, technical writing, and organizational skills.
• Valid BC driver’s license.
• Interest in Indigenous communities and remote projects in BC.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil engineering design for municipal and land development projects.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, specs, and reports under supervision.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and clients.
• Assist with contract administration and construction inspection.
• Participate in site visits and data collection.
• Mentor junior EITs as experience grows.
