Job Description

Seeking a Civil Engineer in Vancouver with interest in multidisciplined infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater conveyance, tunneling, municipal roads, district energy piping, hydraulic analysis, hydro energy recovery, and more. Opportunities exist for leadership roles based on experience, supporting complex regional infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Act as Project Engineer/Manager.
2. Support technicians and designers in preparing accurate contract drawings.
3. Prepare technical reports, contract documents, and funding submissions.
4. Oversee work of Civil Technologists and perform construction administration.
5. Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communications.
6. Ensure quality control and assurance.
7. Coordinate with sub-consultants and various project disciplines.
8. Participate in marketing and business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, eligible for P.Eng. with EGBC.
• 3+ years civil design experience.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience in design, specifications, cost estimating, tendering, construction, and site work.
• Knowledge of project delivery methods, including MMCD.
• Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with a growth mindset.
• Project Management Professional certification and client management experience are assets.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary: $76,960 - $118,560, commensurate with experience.
