Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer for our Infrastructure team in Canada. You will perform detailed civil design for municipal and real‑estate projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver solutions that respect the environment and communities.

You will contribute to site layouts, road and utilities design, and prepare tender documents while working in a hybrid model across Mississauga, Bowmanville, Markham or Toronto offices.

Qualifications

• Oversee civil project design from concept to completion.
• Lead site layouts and road design.
• Coordinate municipal infrastructure design.
• Grading and drainage and utilities.
• Ensure compliance with project specs.
• Provide technical design guidance.
• Lead tender quantity and cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the detailed design of civil projects including site layouts, road design, municipal infrastructure design, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, parking lot design, site utilities, and associated general civil engineering needs from concept to completion.
• Preparation of detailed design drawings and contract documents and specifications for project tendering
• Take professional responsibility for the designs/tender documents prepared
• Make decisions on design and engineering procedures
• Provide technical leadership in client and team meetings
• Preparation of tender quantities and construction cost estimates
• Preparation of technical design reports and studies

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to complete assignments on Civil Engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Senior Engineer and/or Project Manager. You will have the opportunity to work with members of multi-disciplinary teams on exciting and engaging projects at CIMA+, providing the best engineering solutions for people and the environment we all live in.

You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, including 2 days /week in ourMississauga,Bowmanville, Markham or Torontooffice.
