Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to complete assignments on civil engineering projects under direct supervision by a Professional Senior Engineer and/or Project Manager. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on local infrastructure projects and deliver engineering solutions that benefit communities and the environment we live in.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering project design and documentation.
• Ability to take professional responsibility for designs and tender documents.
• Experience preparing tender quantities and construction cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and oversee the detailed design of civil projects including site layouts, road design, municipal infrastructure design, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, parking lot design, site utilities, and related civil engineering needs from concept to completion.
• Preparation of detailed design drawings and contract documents and specifications for project tendering.
• Take professional responsibility for the designs/tender documents prepared.
• Make decisions on design and engineering procedures.
• Provide technical leadership in client and team meetings.
• Preparation of tender quantities and construction cost estimates.
• Preparation of technical design reports and studies.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to complete assignments on Civil Engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Senior Engineer and/or Project Manager. You will have the opportunity to work with members of multi-disciplinary teams on exciting and engaging projects at CIMA+, providing the best engineering solutions for people and the environment we all live in.

You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, including 2 days /week in ourMississauga,Bowmanville, Markham or Torontooffice.

Primary Responsibilities:
