Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Calgary, Alberta seeks a Civil Engineer to support our road and highway projects. You will perform geometric design, prepare design packages, and create 3D models, with work including cost estimates and quality control.

You'll also contribute to project documentation and client presentations. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, is a P.Eng with 7+ years of road design experience, and is proficient in CAD/Civil 3D with TAC/AASHTO guidelines.

## Civil EngineerApply: CA.AB.Calgary.144-4th avenue SW Suite 2200 (West Tower): Full time: Posted Today: R-154328### **Job Description**## **Overview**In response to increasing project demands and development of our business, we are seeking a Civil Engineer to join AtkinsRéalis to support our team in Alberta. This position will be based out of our office in Calgary.## **Your role***To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:** Geometric design for a variety of road and highway infrastructure projects.* Prepare preliminary and detailed design packages for multidisciplinary projects including plans, profiles, typical cross-sections, grading and drainage, property acquisitions, geometrics and laning, spot elevations, signing and pavement markings, detours and construction staging.* Prepare 3D digital models of the proposed design.* Develop cost estimates based on quantity take-offs and unit prices.* Reviewing work and completing quality control procedures.* Lead/Support proposals and fee estimates.* Providing mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians to ensure the technical adequacy of all work.* Contributing to or preparing project documentation including design briefs, design criteria, engineering reports, drawings and specifications to summarize the approach taken and project relevant results, as well as presenting materials to clients.## **About you*** Holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering.* Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.
