Job description

As an experienced Civil Engineer with an interest in water resources or geotechnical engineering, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile projects in our city and Western Canada. You will expand your skills by developing technical solutions, engaging with other disciplines, managing teams, and liaising with client representatives.

You will be part of an award-winning Infrastructure group in Alberta, working in a collaborative culture that values learning, innovation, adaptability, respectful engagement, and a positive team environment.

This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Coordinate challenging infrastructure projects involving civil, hydrotechnical, geotechnical, hydrogeological, environmental, and regulatory disciplines, expanding your technical, project management, and client liaison skills;
  • Enhance your technical expertise on projects such as surface water hydrology, flow modeling, stormwater systems, water/wastewater networks, dams, river erosion, flood protection, and dam safety;
  • Engage in all project stages, from design and reports to tendering and construction support;
  • Develop project management skills under senior guidance, fostering long-term client relationships, and managing resources, costs, and schedules;
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers to support their career growth;
  • Broaden your professional practice across multidisciplinary projects while maintaining a focus on civil engineering;
  • Work across Western Canada with potential international travel;

If you possess a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, are registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer, and have at least 5 years of relevant consulting experience, we want to hear from you!
