We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Designer with strong MicroStation skills to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead and execute civil design tasks for various municipal infrastructure projects.

Enjoy our hybrid work model, which includes flexible hours and two days per week in our Mississauga or Bowmanville office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage civil design and drafting efforts for municipal infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective design solutions.
• Prepare detailed civil drawings, site plans, and 3D models using MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Revit as needed.
• Ensure all outputs meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications, supporting quality assurance and control.
• Provide design support throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, permitting, construction, and close-out.
• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and as-builts for compliance with project requirements.
• Mentor and support junior designers and technologists, fostering a collaborative and technically strong environment.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil design experience for municipal infrastructure, preferably in water and wastewater systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in MicroStation is required; experience with AutoCAD and Revit is a strong asset.
• Ability to produce high-quality, practical designs and interpret engineering concepts into drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with stakeholders is an asset.
