Job description

WSP has a new opportunity for a CAD Technician to join our Drafting and Design Team on a full-time basis. As a Civil Designer (Civil 3D) at WSP, you'll be working with multi-disciplinary teams to provide technician and engineering design support on a wide variety of unique Municipal projects locally and around the world. You will be part of a global technical community of drafting, design, and BIM practitioners who collaborate, innovate, build enduring relationships, excel, and grow professionally in a robust culture of ownership. This role will be based in our Fredericton office in New Brunswick. What you can expect to do here :

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and consultants, understanding the requirements and incorporating those requirements into your work.
  • Provide technical 2D drafting and 3D modeling and design analysis support on a wide variety of projects.
  • Prepare technical figures for reports and engineering drawings for conceptual, tender, and construction packages.
  • Responsible for quality assurance and control with adherence to global company standards, processes, and best practices.

What you'll bring to WSP :

  • Technician or Technology Diploma or Degree or equivalent preferably in the disciplines of Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in AutoDesk Civil 3D.
