Job summary

Condeland Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Civil Engineering Designer to join our growing team. The Intermediate Designer will assist in technical design, development pursuits, and project delivery under supervision of Senior Designer and Project Manager.

The role requires a Civil Engineering Degree with 3–5 years in a consulting civil environment, plus knowledge of HECRAS, Visual HYMO, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D. A strong team player with a disciplined work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a Civil Engineering degree and 3–5 years in a consulting civil environment.
• Experience with land development projects and municipal works is preferred.
• Knowledge of HECRAS and Visual HYMO modelling is essential.
• AutoCAD, including Civil 3D, is an asset; strong design drawing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in technical design and document management for site, land, and municipal development projects.
• Perform grading, servicing, plan/profile design, and wastewater engineering tasks.
• Prepare design reports and construction documents.
• Coordinate with design team and approval authorities; assist permits negotiation.

Condeland Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Civil Engineering Designer to be a part of our growing team. Role Overview

The Intermediate Level Designer is responsible for assisting in technical design, business development, pursuing new projects, and enhancing the capabilities of the Civil team.This position will work under the supervision of the Senior Designer and the Project Manager.

What We Need

• Civil Engineering Degree and minimum relevant 3 to 5 years’ experience.
• Previous experience working in a consulting civil engineering environment in the land development industry.
• Knowledge and use of HECRAS Hydraulic modelling and Visual HYMO Hydrologic modelling.
• AutoCAD experience, including Civil 3D an asset.
• Self-motivated / team player.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team committing to delivery of exceptional product in agreed upon timelines.
• Eager to learn and take on new challenges, with a strong disciplined work ethic and desire to succeed.

What You Will Do

• Assist with Technical design and management of documents and drawings for site, land, and municipal development projects.
• Grading, servicing, plan / profile design, and waste water engineering.
• Assist in preparation of design reports and construction documents.
• Coordinate and communicate with design team, and approval authorities.
• Assist in negotiation of permits.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.

·C.E.T. or preferred Professional Engineer (eligible for licence) specializing in subdivision design with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience.

·Knowledgeable in the design of roads, storm and sanitary sewer systems, water distribution systems, storm water management ponds and techniques, lot grading design, and earthworks
