Responsibilities include:

  • Perform inspections to verify product conformity to type design data and safety standards, ensuring flight safety and safety of people and property.
  • Complete Aircraft certification records and verify certification and building documents.
  • Perform Aircraft Physical Inspections.
  • Review and accept discrepancies.
  • Issue ‘Certificate of Airworthiness’ (C of A).
  • Manage aircraft certification records.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the Quality Assurance department on various initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
  • Diploma in aeronautical maintenance.
  • Transport Canada license in aircraft maintenance (AME).
  • Experience as an Authorized Inspector (Category 1 or ACA) in Bombardier Aerospace.
  • 10 years in the aeronautical field, including 5 in a technical domain, and 2 in inspection of aeronautical products.
  • Satisfactory practical experience with Transport Canada’s airworthiness certification conditions and international regulatory requirements.
  • Flexibility to meet organizational scheduling requirements.
  • Good decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer orientation skills.
