Position Details:
Position: Full Time Mobile Guard
Site: City of Brampton
Pay Rate: $22.16
Schedule: Continental Nights (1800-0600)
OT Method: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) After 88 hours

Schedule Sample:
- Week 1: Nights - Mon, Tues, Fri & Sat
- Week 2: Nights - Sun, Wed & Thurs
Key Responsibilities:
- Being alert and observant while outside, standing or walking for extended periods in all weather conditions (Rain, Snow, Excessive Heat & Cold, etc.)
- Maintaining communication with fellow Security Guards, dispatchers, clients, and Paladin Management.
- Ensuring all site staff adhere to Paladin Security policies and procedures.
- Proper documentation passed onto Shift Leads/Dispatchers, clients, and Paladin leadership.
- Completing mobile patrols diligently.
- Documenting and investigating security incidents and complaints.
- Communicating concerns/issues with Supervisors, Client Service Managers, or clients.
- Reporting vehicle deficiencies to Paladin leadership.
- Working independently and being self-motivated.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism, appearance, and attitude.
- Representing Paladin Security, the City of Brampton, and their customers positively.
- Performing security duties according to established procedures and within legal limitations.
- Recording discrepancies, deficiencies, and hazards during patrols and taking corrective actions.
- Enforcing company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations courteously and helpfully.
- Responding promptly to emergencies and coordinating responses as per procedures.
Prerequisites:
- Valid Security License for Ontario
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from WSIB-approved vendor)
- Covid Vaccine - two doses
- Valid G class Driver License with a clean abstract (no major convictions, no more than 2 minor convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years)
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields preferred.
- Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) or willingness to complete Paladin's training prior to onboarding (training costs covered by Paladin with a 6-month commitment)
