Job summary

The City of Niagara Falls seeks an experienced Asset Management leader to administer the Asset Management Team and Program. This permanent role reports to the General Manager of Municipal Works and supervises analysts and information technologists.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, managing asset data and GIS integration, delivering annual state of the infrastructure updates, and guiding capital budgeting and lifecycle planning with cross-divisional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year degree in related engineering, finance, economics, business administration or similar field.
• Minimum 4 years of asset management concepts and best practices.
• Experience managing/supervising staff, preferably in a municipal environment.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory compliance and corporate governance for asset management.
• Lead and manage asset data inventory and GIS integration.
• Oversee analysis, reporting and decision support for long-term capital planning.
• Guide annual capital budgeting and multi-year forecast.
• Provide leadership and collaboration across divisions to gather data for asset plans.
