What you'll be doing

As a member of CIBC Wood Gundy, you will be responsible for building and growing client portfolios through dedicated relationship management, trusted investment advice, and exceptional client service. As a Client Associate, you will work closely with Investment Advisors to help manage portfolios and develop new business. You will engage directly with high-net-worth clients to offer support, uncover business opportunities, and proactively enhance the client experience.

We enable an optimal work environment for you to thrive. The role requires full-time onsite work from Monday through Friday.

The salary range for this role is $24.48 to $32.26 CAD per hour.

  • Client Engagement: Focus on each client's experience, connect personally, anticipate needs, and communicate promptly to build trust and deepen relationships. Identify opportunities to improve the client experience.
  • Business Development: Proactively seek business opportunities, support development activities, and assist in building investment plans aligned with client profiles, goals, and risk tolerance.
  • Relationship Building: Increase CIBC brand awareness in your community by participating in local events, marketing, and outreach activities. Grow your network to generate future opportunities.
Who you are
  • You hold current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct & Practice Handbook (CPH), and Investment Representative (IR) licensing, or are willing to obtain these within 6 months.
  • Experience in Financial Services and/or Brokerage industry, with working knowledge of quotation equipment.
  • You prioritize clients, engage with purpose, and go the extra mile.
