Job summary

ISG Search Inc. is seeking a CI/Process Engineer in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The role focuses on analyzing and improving high‑volume manufacturing processes, driving Lean initiatives, and supporting new equipment and product introductions.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in process/CI engineering, strong problem solving, and experience with Kaizen, PFMEA, and standard work documentation. On-site work, with potential overtime in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in process, manufacturing, industrial, or continuous improvement engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with high-volume manufacturing, production processes, automation, and assembly operations.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and problem-solving tools (e.g. PDCA, PFMEA, Kaizen, KATA, 5 Why).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, throughput, cycle times, and equipment utilization.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions, SOPs, KPIs, and process documentation.
  • Support capacity planning, ergonomics improvements, error-proofing, and production problem solving.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations on new equipment implementation and new product introductions.
  • Monitor manufacturing performance metrics and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support a safe manufacturing environment by identifying and addressing process-related risks.
