Our client in the Markham Region is growing and looking to expand their team by hiring a skilled machine operator / printing press operator.

Job title : Printing Press Operator.

Must have experience in the printing industry.

Knowledge of using CI presses.

Shift Timing: Afternoon: 3PM - 11PM

Pay : $28+ / hourly up to $35 / hr for highly qualified candidates with industry experience, plus $.75 / hr shift premium for afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up, operate, and monitor press machinery to meet production goals
• Complete press setup, load materials, adjust settings, and calibrate equipment
• Monitor production, inspect materials, and ensure quality standards
• Verify and track materials for inventory and work in progress
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of machinery and work area
• Follow safety guidelines, wear PPE, and report hazards
• Complete documentation accurately
• Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure smooth production

Qualifications

HS / GED required; 2-4 years of related industry experience

This role has no leadership responsibilities.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Strong time management and organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
