Job Description:

Clearance Needed: TS/SCI

Are you ready to join a team operationalizing unique intelligence in the Pacific? Do you thrive in capturing ground-truth data and building novel analytics in support of an operational end user? Parsons is hiring a PRC / PLA analytic SME to provide analysis, inform collection requirements, and integrate assessments to work closely with the DoD, interagency, and our client in Honolulu, HI.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a PRC SME on a geographically dispersed cross-functional team supporting a counter-malign influence (CMI) portfolio
  • Provide expertise and integrate in-depth analysis of non-traditional and traditional sources to aid efforts against hard targets in the Indo-Pacific
  • Conduct in-depth social network analysis to inform and drive collection requirements
  • Supplement the development of a novel assessment and targeting methodology in support of DoD and IC initiatives
  • Support new initiatives including but not limited to collection and analysis, targeting campaigns, and data science / big data integration
  • Provide intelligence support for the planning and execution of defense and interagency operations
  • Provide information papers and briefings for General Officer / Flag Officer-level recipients

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 years’ relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years’ experience working in the Indo-Pacific region
  • Demonstrated relevant subject matter expertise in intelligence, non-kinetic operations, and network analysis
  • Extensive knowledge of PRC political and military affairs
  • Proven ability to coordinate collections, requirements, and intelligence for DoD and interagency in support of plans, doctrine, strategies, and operations
  • Valid US Passport
  • Active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and writing skills, including the ability to draft reports with limited editorial support
  • Previous exposure to Special Technical Operations (STO) and Special Access Programs (SAP)
  • Prior support to DoD, law enforcement, interagency, and/or regulatory agencies supporting dynamic real-world missions
  • Prior experience working in cross-functional teams across multiple locations
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as: Analyst Notebook, record message traffic (RMT), interagency tools, commercial databases, information tools, etc.
