Job Summary

Ainsworth is currently looking for Chiller Technicians to join our growing team. The role will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining Chillers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ability to diagnose chillers and related equipment, full understanding of product operations.
  2. Installation of equipment and components.
  3. Assists in the overhaul and servicing of chillers.
  4. Perform maintenance and repair on all chiller manufacturers.
  5. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  6. Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
  7. Contribute to the ongoing training and mentoring of indentured apprentices.
  8. Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
  1. Certified Red Seal Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic.
  2. Minimum 5 years commercial experience on Centrifugal Chillers.
  3. Danfoss compressor repair/maintenance experience.
  4. Knowledge of the practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment of the HVAC Refrigeration trade.
  5. A current and valid Alberta driver’s license.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills an asset.
  7. Preference given for dual Journeyman Certification (Electrician, Plumber, Gas).
