YMCA BC is seeking a Childminder for Community Programs in Merritt, BC. This casual, on-site position supports child, youth, and family programming by caring for children while caregivers participate in YMCA activities. The Childminder, Community Programs report to the Supervisor, Child, Youth and Family and work collaboratively with other members of the YMCA team to provide a safe and fun environment for our child, youth, and family programming.
Childminder staff will be responsible for the care, safety and well-being of multiple children of children aged 3 months to 8 years old while their caregivers take part in onsite YMCA BC programs.
