Childcare Support Position

Our lovely not-for-profit client is looking for temporary Childcare Support to help in their childcare facility for a few weeks.

This individual will offer support in the daycare, interacting with and supervising the kids, preparing snacks, helping organize different crafts and activities, as well as ensuring a clean and safe environment for the children and staff members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interacting with and supervising children in the daycare facility
• Organizing activities and crafts
• Cleaning and upkeeping the facility
• Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass an RCMP check and VSC (Vulnerable Sector Check)

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a daycare/childcare facility is considered an asset

Skills:

• Personable and compassionate nature
• Patient and composed personality
• Ability to remain calm under pressure

Base Salary: $19-21 per hour (Based on experience)

Work Hours:

• 25 hours per week
• Mon – Fri
• 12 – 5PM

Remote Work: This position is not remote and requires on-site presence.

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
