Job summary

Tikinagan Child & Family Services in Ontario seeks Intake/Investigation Workers to respond to reports of children at risk of harm. You will investigate referrals, help determine safety, and support least intrusive protective measures.

The Mamow Obiki-ahwahsoowin Service Model guides all staff to raise our children within a team-based approach. Travel is required; remote work and relocation assistance are not available.

Qualifications

• Experience with children/youth and community life in small remote communities.
• Willing to attend required training.
• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and lived experience preferred.
• Ability to speak Oji-cree or Ojibway is an asset.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills; good time management.
• Valid driver’s license or willingness to obtain one.
• Travel is a requirement for this role.
• No remote work available; no relocation assistance available.
