The Indigenous Women's Healing Centre seeks a CFS Worker to manage child protection cases by implementing policies from Awasis Agency of Northern Manitoba. This permanent, full-time position requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and strong communication skills. POSITION TYPE: PERMANENT, FULL-TIME
The Child & Family Services (CFS) Worker implements the policies, procedures, and specific directives of Awasis Agency of Northern Manitoba when working with families and children in the field of child protection. The duties include responding to community service requests and managing a caseload of protection and voluntary family files. The worker collaborates with Family Enhancement and Foster Care teams, conducts interviews and assessments, follows up on child protection allegations, maintains regular client visits, ensures accurate documentation, develops case plans, and partners with collateral resources.
