Job Requirements

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Other credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of related childcare experience

Responsibilities:

  • Change diapers and assist with toilet training following parents’ guidance
  • Sterilize bottles and prepare milk, meals, and snacks appropriate for a toddler
  • Assume full household responsibility in parents’ absence
  • Bathe, dress, and supervise feeding for the child, encouraging independence as appropriate.
  • Discipline toddler according to parents’ methods
  • Teach personal hygiene and support social development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games, crafts, and outings
  • Perform light housekeeping and general cleaning
  • Supervise and care for the child throughout daily routines
  • Support the child’s emotional well-being and developmental growth
  • Take the child to and from daycare or appointments as required

Additional information

Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel regularly

Target audience: Toddler to pre-school (1 – 3 years)

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail; ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
