Job summary

Peter Ballantyne Child & Family Services Inc. is seeking one full-time Child Care Worker for the Receiving Home in Sandy Bay, SK, reporting to the Receiving Home Supervisor.

Responsibilities include providing child care, transportation for family visits, and maintaining high standards of care for children and families within the Receiving Home. The role also covers home-based support, program module implementation, and active participation in daily operations, while modeling a positive behavior.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 or GED.
• CCW training or experience in the Child & Family Services area or related field.
• Mature, stable, and leads a healthy lifestyle.
• Commitment to protecting children.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if required.
• Must have a working telephone at home.
• Knowledge of the Cree culture, language, and objectives of PBCN.
• People of First Nation ancestry are encouraged to apply.
• Employment will be determined based on a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
