Job summary

Peter Ballantyne Child & Family Services Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Child Care Worker for the Receiving Home in Deschambault Lake, SK.

Reporting to the Program Supervisor, the role focuses on supporting children in care and ensuring their safety. Responsibilities include investigating abuse, placing children in protection, monitoring placements, providing family support, and offering ongoing counseling and education to children and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 or GED 12.
• CCW training or experience in the Child & Family Services area or related field.
• Must have Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
• Willingness to work evening and weekends, if required.
• Employment will be determined based on a satisfactory police record check *

• Knowledge of the Cree culture, language, political and social objectives of PBCN.
