• Engage children in activities by storytelling, singing, crafts and creative play.
• Provide opportunities for creative expression through art, drama, music and movement.
• Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing and toilet habits and routines.
• Plan and organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours.

• The candidate will be expected to assist early childhood educators in implementing programmes that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• The candidate will be expected to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining records.
• The candidate must engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
• The candidate must provide opportunities for creative expression through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
• The candidate must guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
• The candidate must prepare snacks and set up rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
• The candidate must observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
• The candidate must be familiar with the Day Nurseries Act.
• The candidate must establish guidelines for behaviour.
• The candidate must plan and maintain an environment that protects children’s health, safety, and well-being.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
