Job Title: CHILD & YOUTH WORKER | #1967
Service Area: Child & Youth Services
Location: Brock Junction (After School Programs)
Start Date: February 24, 2025
Term/Status: Permanent Part Time
Schedule/Hours: Monday 13:00 - 18:00; Tuesday to Friday 14:00 - 18:00 // 21 hours per week - Full time hours during summer, professional development days and school breaks.
Hourly Wage:
$27.83 as per collective agreement

Role:

The Child & Youth Worker ensures the provision of an enriched after school program by providing opportunities for learning and skill development for school aged children, including participants with special needs. The position ensures that activities being offered are designed to promote individual growth.

Requirements/Education/Experience:

  • Criminal Record Clearance
  • Medical Clearance
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Unrestricted Class 4 Driver's License, or Class 5 Driver's License and are willing to obtain a class 4 unrestricted Driver’s license
  • Valid First Aid/CPR
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention Certification
  • Demonstrated competency in English written and verbal communication
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Eligible to work in Canada
