A community service organization in Calgary is seeking a full-time Child & Youth Counselor. You will support children and youth in a group home, facilitating daily activities, managing crises, and promoting their mental and emotional well-being. Ideal candidates will have relevant education and experience working with vulnerable populations. This role requires a compassionate individual eager to learn and apply the Teaching Family Model. About the Position: This permanent full-time position works with a team of professionals to support children and youth in a community group home in Calgary . Utilizing the Teaching Family Model as a holistic approach, you will facilitate success for children and youth by assisting with day to day activities and routines, maintaining a structured setting, fostering skill development, managing crisis, ensuring high levels of supervision to promote safety, and assisting with schoolwork household duties.
