The Opportunity

In this role, you will function similarly to a Hotel Manager, Guest Services Manager and Food and Beverage Manager onboard our vessels, overseeing guest services and ensuring a high standard of servicein addition to managing catering operations and ensuring top-notch service on board our vessels.

The Role

  • Lead and manage all passenger area operations aboard the vessel, providing oversight and direction to teams responsible for kitchen operations, food and beverage service, retail outlet, and stateroom accommodations to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
  • Ensure consistent service availability by maintaining optimal staffing and product readiness throughout service hours to maximize and enhance onboard revenue
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for the team.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and all relevant regulatory requirements, maintaining a high standard of operational compliance and integrity.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective corrective actions to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Performing administrative duties such as timesheets, inventory and supplies management and reports.
  • Monitor and manage financials associated with catering operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to budget targets.
  • Strong understanding of performance management principles and employee development practices; monitor individual and team performance, delivering regular feedback, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions
  • Leading and participating in emergency response procedures, safety and security drills, and regulatory inspections.

What you bring to the team

You bring 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role preferably in Food service industry.

A certificate or diploma in in business, human resources or hospitality is an asset.

A valid Seafarer’s Medical, Food Safe Level 1 and Serving it Right Certificates are required and can be obtained upon receiving an offer of employment.

Additional information

The target salary range: $77,300 - $96,600 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity. Starting salary may exceed the target range on exceptional basis.
