Job summary

xNorth Inc. seeks experienced Interim Chief Restructuring Officers to support industrial and manufacturing organizations facing operational or financial challenges.

With a proven turnaround track record, you will rapidly assess complex environments, stabilize performance, and design pragmatic transformation plans. You will lead end-to-end restructuring across plants, optimize cost structures and working capital, and partner with leadership, boards, and advisors to align priorities and drive

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a CEO, General Manager, or equivalent executive role.
• Proven track record leading organizations through restructuring, turnaround, or transformation.
• Strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments (multi-site, plant operations, supply chain).
• Deep expertise in cost optimization, operational efficiency, and cash management.
• Ability to operate hands-on in complex, high-pressure environments.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including board-level exposure.
• Experience in special situations (distressed assets, carve-outs, rapid transformation) is a plus.
• MBA, CPA, or relevant advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end restructuring initiatives across manufacturing and industrial operations.
• Diagnose operational and financial performance, identifying root causes of underperformance.
• Develop and execute turnaround plans focused on profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
• Optimize cost structures, production processes, and supply chain performance.
• Improve working capital management, including inventory, procurement, and receivables.
• Implement performance management frameworks and KPIs at plant and group level.
• Support strategic decisions such as site rationalization, footprint optimization, or divestitures.
• Work closely with leadership teams, boards, and stakeholders to align on restructuring priorities.
• Strengthen operational discipline across production, quality, and maintenance functions.
• Lead change management initiatives to ensure execution and adoption on the ground.
• Coordinate with financial and legal advisors when required in restructuring or special situations.
